The new SUP regulation stands for Single-Use Plastics, which includes but is not limited to at least the following products: - Food containers - Aluminum bags and packaging - Beverage containers not subject to deposit - Beverage containers subject to deposit - Beverage cups - Lightweight plastic bags - Wet wipes - Balloons - Tobacco products with built-in filter and tobacco filters Who is required to register in this category?
If the manufactured products fall under the SUP category in Germany If the imported products are subject to SUP requirements in Germany If you sell products subject to DE SUP requirements in Germany and you are not a resident of Germany.
NB: On January 1, 2025 if you sell disposable products in Germany without providing a valid EPR SUP number, the offers will be deactivated.
